Successful Performercast
In this episode, voice actor and musician (formerly) Laura Dickinson brings us insight into how she’s made it as a voice actor for Disney Animation and how good old fashioned hustle can really take you the distance.
Laura makes her living as a full-time musician, contracting for Disney providing singing voices for animated characters on Phineas & Ferb, Jake & the Neverland Pirates, and Sofia the First. Essentially, “your nine-year old daughter’s favorite singer.” You’ve also heard her voice on Pitch Perfect, Modern Family, and Supernatural.

Stories of the Magic (Part One)
In this episode, we again welcome a returning guest, as we begin a new 2-part interview with (formerly) Laura Dickinson. Hopefully you recognize her name, but even if you don’t, you’ve heard and enjoyed her voice if you’ve watched Phineas and Ferb, Sofia the First, and other shows, or if you were a fan of Groove 66 at Disney California Adventure. In the 2-1/2 years since we first talked, Laura’s been quite busy with a number of projects that will be of interest to Disney fans, and music fans.
